Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

After Michael Jackson’s death the Jackson Mania kicked in all over the internet. Amazon, ebay & itunes all top the charts with Michael Jackson memorabilia and recordings.

A Michael Jackson portrait by Andy Warhol that sold for $278,500 in May is being offered for a minimum of $800,000 by an East Hampton, New York, gallery, reflecting the booming market for Jackson items since the pop singer’s death on June 25.

Six days before he was to begin a 50-date comeback tour in London, Michael Jackson will instead be eulogized at a massive memorial service today at Staples Center. Like Michael Jackson’s life his death will be swarmed with media and public outpouring.
