A duct tape dress is not only a quirky way to show up for the prom, it’s also a chance at a college scholarship. Duck Brand Duct Tape runs an annual contest for crafty couples who construct their own formal attire out of the company’s tape.
Above is a photograph of the 2008 Duck brand duct tape Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest Winners wearing the prom dresses they made out of duct tape. The unusual Stuck at Prom Contest challenges high school students to design prom dresses using duct tape for the chance to win up to $3,000 in scholarship money.
